初听这首歌，感觉一定是位流行女歌手的新歌。后来看了介绍才知道演唱者Suzanne Vega
是八十年代民谣运动复兴的领军人物,她既是歌手，又是一个出色的词曲作家。1985年其处
女专辑发表，受到了乐评界一致好评。并且在英美两地销量出奇的好。著名的 Rolling S
tone 杂志还把该专辑评为八十年代最出色的一百张专辑之一。此后 Suzanne Vega 便在世
界各地巡演，并被邀请到如 Royal Albert 音乐厅，Carnegie 音乐厅，Radio City Musi
c 音乐厅等此类高等的地方演出。1986年，Suzanne Vega 更是为Philip Glass 的管弦乐
队谱了两首曲子。

1987年的第二张专辑“Solitude Standing”（孤独站立），在商业上取得了更大的成
功，专辑在全世界的销量达到了300万张。专辑中的“Tom's Diner”和 "Luka" 更是成为
经典名曲。

原来这首歌是87年的作品。但在这个代时依然在散发时尚流行的光芒，太厉害啦！

听这首歌怎么也不觉得是新民谣！
